Dispensation Request

If the rules would move a dancer into a different division for the competition year and you believe there is good reason for that not to happen, or there are circumstances which mean you cannot meet the qualification criteria for European Masters or World Masters, you can ask World Dance Masters to consider a dispensation.

Division and age requests must reach us by 1 October

Before you start

Please read this first — it will save you time. No requests for division or age category considerations will be taken after 1 October.

Read the Competition Rules

You must have read the Competition Rules and understand that there is an option for a dispensation. If you believe you are still entitled to be considered, complete the form below.

One form for each dancer

Please complete the form once for each dancer. If you teach several dancers, submit a separate request for each of them — every request is decided on its own.

Have this to hand

The dancer’s DIN (if you can’t find it, visit wdm.dance/forgot-din), their results from the last competition year — events, placings, grades and number of competitors — and the reasons for your request.

Submit a request

It takes a few minutes. You’ll move through the steps one at a time.
