No qualifying event in your country?

If there is not a qualifying competition in your country of residence then you do not need to qualify to dance at European Dance Masters or the World Dance Masters Championships. Example, if you reside in Germany and there is no German Masters event then you may attend and compete at European Dance Masters and the World Dance Masters Championships without qualification.

World Dance Masters is looking to expand! If you'd like to offer an event in a country where we do not currently have a sanctioned event, please reach out to us via the Contact Us button in the menu. We'd love to discuss how WDM might be able to support you.

Do you need to be a member of WDM to compete?

From the start of the 2024 dance year, each competitor will be required to have a Unique Competitor Identification Number (UCID) to compete at WDM. UCID's are free to create and is a unique number that you will use for all your registrations moving forward. Anyone is eligible to compete at World Dance Masters and there are no fees to obtain a UCID. To understand more about our rules and which division you will be eligible to compete in, please read our short rule book through the Rules page in the menu.
