While we still can’t get back on the dance floor, we decided to bring the dance floor back to you one more time!

What is Lockdown Masters?

The Lockdown Masters is a World Dance Masters competition event which will be judged virtually. Over the coming weeks, dancers will have the opportunity to register and virtually compete in a World Dance Masters Solo division. Rather than being together or ‘live’, dancers will submit videos of themselves dancing which will then be produced into ‘divisional showcases’ where each dancer in the division is placed side-by-side so they can be judged comparatively. A panel of World Dance Masters qualified judges will then judge each division and place dancers as per a normal World Dance Masters competition. Scoring will take place using the standard scoring process (the relative placement system) and awards will be announced during a showcase live event in May.
