Jacqui Fowler is a pivotal member of the World Dance Masters team, especially when it comes to the running of the World Dance Masters Championship event. Jacqui works this weekend harder than us at times, and what she does is of paramount importance.
The Winter Gardens is a huge venue and it takes a lot of work to try and keep it as secure as possible for the duration, for the attendees and for us.
Jacqui makes sure that there is always first-aid on hand if it is needed. She makes sure that the many, many doors of the Winter Gardens are covered for the whole event so that we keep out people who might want to come in and steal things, and she runs around this venue for 3 days straight without stopping making sure that the volunteering is running smoothly and that we kept secure.
In 2014, our World Dance Masters Unsung Hero was given to Jacqui, because without her, we wouldn’t be able to run our biggest event of the year.
