Nadia Coen received the Unsung Hero Award in 2018 for her dedication and commitment to the international growth of WDM. Because of Nadia, there were more than 80 people at #WDM18 that have travelled more than 5,000 miles to be part of the World Dance Masters experience.
Not only has Nadia been instrumental in the growth and development of line dance in their country for many, many years, but she also supports a huge amount of development work with disadvantaged children. Many people have been involved with this – by donating old costumes or footwear to help with her work. Many of the World Dance Masters team have been out to South Africa to support the amazing selfless work she does, and have had first-hand experience seeing the impact she has on so many lives.
