Sharon Kennedy is a personal hero to Nicola and Sam and the whole World Dance Masters team. She is a silent one, but ever present, and most of you will have experienced Sharon at one of our events in the past.
One of the things we pride ourselves on is being affordable. We keep our costs as low as possible, and a lot of that is only possible because of people like Sharon.
Sharon is from Ireland and is one of the people who is constantly there for World Dance Masters, helping to keep everything orderly on the door of our events. It’s not an exciting job, but Sharon ALWAYS helps get people through the doors, checks wristbands, and keeps us safe. Without question. She never complains. She only ever wants to help. Even when we tell her to have a break, have a drink, go and sit somewhere for a while. No. She is our door warrior and has been for years.
Without people like Sharon, we’d need to hire more outside staff. And they wouldn’t be as friendly. People like Sharon keep World Dance Masters running. She is rightfully out Unsung Hero for 2016.
